I am totally and completely ashamed at my lack of painting a day commitment. I hope that you all note that I did qualify my blog with the title "lay about artist" and it's true.
I've been spending most of my free time researching and stressing about my Punk Rock Plates project. The original plan was to have my designs manufactured preferably in the states but possibly overseas. That plan didn't pan out. My backup plan has been to get a kiln and hand paint pre-fired bisqueware. That plan is working out better.
I test fired the kiln on Sunday. I'm still tweaking the glazes but I should have samples and some sets available for sale in the next 2 weeks.
I do have some ideas for paintings rattling around in my noggin so I'll be getting to work soon and you can again be amazed at my artistic genius. (or something like that)
